My background includes leading teams through system transitions, streamlining month-end close processes, spearheading eight years of successful audits and 990 processing, improving operational workflows and internal controls, and enhancing reporting for better decision-making across nonprofit and private organizations.
Most recently, I served as Director of Accounting at New Teacher Center, where I led the full scope of accounting operations—including annual general and federal single audits, accounting close, financial reporting, and grant and contract revenue recognition—while managing a team in Finance and Business Operations and partnering across departments. I collaborated closely with leadership in Finance, Development, and Program teams to ensure financial clarity and operational integrity across the organization.
